I am thinking of staying around the Soi 7/8/9 area of Jomtiem Area  has anyone any ideas? Links to websites? staying late Feb/March 15. Thanks

I prefer around Sois 4-5, more stuff in these areas.

 

Nirvana Boutique has gorgeous thai decorated rooms at quite reasonable rates.  There are also some ok cheap guesthouses in this soi like Moonshine Guesthouse and Eagle House.

 

Soi 6 Jomtien has some new places though you will have to run the massage gauntlet each day.

 

Chef@Home on beach road btw sois 4-5 has nice seaview rooms.

 

That is low type season so you could just book 3 nights then look around for walk in deals
