Good to know...Even I can learn 5 words

scratch what i said before the most important word is "smoke" meaning blowjob. They will understand this. So whip out the insides of your pockets, do your elephant impression and say "smoke"

I'd say it's very important for any country visit but largely for Thailand as most tourists will only be meeting either uneducated vendors and service staff from up country who likely won't know much or any English or you will meet almost fluent bar girls.

We're all different but I run far from BGs who speak English. I reckon for each word of English, that's about 5 cocks they've serviced. My preference is the non English speaking newbies. So soft, gentle, and real! It's a challenge but overall better for me. The girls who speak too much have seen and done it all. Yuck.

I'd say it's most importantly out of respect to greet and thank people. As mentioned "mai ow" meaning "I don't want" is necessary.

I was banned because I couldn't stop being a cunt and being antagonistic continually baiting other BMS. I also gave board information to a banned member, which is a major no-no. Please do not be like me or you too will get your pee-pee slapped.

I downloaded the Pimsluer thai language this week and it works very well. Although I am very well versed in computers and have done thousands of download, I had never heard of a torrent before. After researching what it/they are I downloaded the program overnight took about 14 hours and now have burned it onto CD's to listen in the car. It works great and it should be great training. Especially for free. I encourage all who are interested to do the same.

I also had the same problem finding pimsleur too full-on. If you are tired from work, or not mentally alert, it's hard to concentrate. So before I went to Thailand, i bought the LANGUAGE 30 COURSE. It gives you basic words and sentences to remember, not difficult as pimsleur.

I have uploaded it to a site, so you can download it. It is about 29 megabytes.( too big for email)

It is a self-extracting file, which means when you double-click on it, it will extract itself (de-compress) so you can use it on your computer.

There will also be a file called "Lessons in PDF format.pdf.". To view it you will need ADOBE ACROBAT READER. If you don't have it installed, go to this site to download it:

I am trying to learn some Thai with Pimsleurs. I find the CDs intresting

and challanging I think that was money well spent. But for some reson

(Most likley that I as stupid as F---) My learning rate is WAY less than

the 30 minets that are given in a lesson. To learn the firts lesson I had

to listen to the lesson.. pratice all day at work (Walking around making

strange sounds all day) For five days before I could clame 100% recall

on the first lesson. I was just woundering if anyone had any comment

about the time it took them to go through a lesson with 100% recall

(The disks ask for 80% but I am kind of a stickler)

PS, If anyones answer is that I am an idiot thats fine two LOL.

mate i have the same problem lets put it this way ive listened to lesson 1 about 4 times now and only picked up a little bit of the 30 minute lesson and ive been to los 4 times and can speak thai a little ive had the same problem with these cd roms files watever

I downloaded the Pimsleur 30 lesson course from a link on another board.

My Thai is slightly more advanced than the lessons insofar as I have learned very little from the 24 or 25 lessons to which I have listened so far. However, I have noticed that some of the tones they give are just plain wrong.

For example, they say that มาก (maak) meaning much or a lot is pronounced with a high tone, whereas those of you who can read Thai will know that it is pronounced with a falling tone. Black mark for that!
