I booked this hotel initially for 1 Month, from 31 December, with the option of a further 4 months.

I was put in room 206 but after the first night found that it was too noisy and asked for a different room. I knew that there was one available, but the owner said that there was no chance of changing for the foreseeable future.

I had paid for the month but could not stay there due to late night noise, so found another hotel and asked for a refund.

The owner refused so I decided to leave some of my belongings there and occasionally visit, so he could not re-let.

On vacating the room, and having only stayed 4 days he hit me with a bill for 630 bht electric & water.......Clearly he wanted some profit from the electric I would have used, had I stayed.

I do know that you only get a visit from the cleaner once a week.

I know that it's a cheap hotel but would not recommend other BM's to stay.

630 bht is not exactly a hit for 4 days, even less when bearing in mind that the room was yours for 1 month.

why on earth did you pay for a month if you were disatisfied from day 1, & refused a room change?

I've only been to Thailand on 20+ occasions & no way do you have to prepay for a room SIGHT UNSEEN, I hope that you have at least learnt that if you intend to visit again!
