3-4 bedroom apartment

Hey guys,

 

Just booked flights for Boys Trip 2.0. Mostly same faces but with an extra few.

 

When we were in Bangkok last year we got a 4 bedroom apartment on top of the Urbana Langsuan.

 

It was great having all 4, sometimes eight ;) of us in the one house.

 

Is there anything like this in Pattaya or even a Villa really close to WS or the 6?

Try Airbnb. They have lots of places in Bangkok, Pattaya is starting slowly but growing.

Try Thailand holiday homes, sorry I'm not that IT savvy so I can't put up a link for you but I stay with them every time I'm in pattaya have heaps of options all with pools and the great thing about it is you don't have any problem bringing who you want in and out. If you go this option and want a couple of tips just let me know and I'll give you a few of the in's and out's so you get the most out of your stay.

Trying to find something that is close (or as close to WS/S6 as I can) is kind of hard

 

4 rooms is optimal as there is 4 guys

 

alot of places are over in Jomiten, whats that like for partying, girls etc, or even getting to and from to WS?

Place that I always stay in is just off 3rd road near ping, house is called baan kon lafun but is 3 bedroom, only takes 10 minutes to walk to Soi 6 going through the back streets. There is a 5 bedroom just a bit further north but from memory is just off of beach rd looks to be about the same distance from Soi 6 but a little bit further out, I've never stayed there but looked good, but you're right most of the places are in or around jomtien . I've looked through the site a few times and they seem to be the best options because I'm the same as you want easy access to both Soi 6 and Walking Street

They say it's between Soi 9 and 10 next to central festival.

 

I can't see it on any maps but the maps are old and it points to that big vacant block of land. I can't remember it from October. Maybe it's new?

The description and map don't match.

 

They say it's 1.5km inland from JOMTIEN Beach on a development.

I'm guessing the map is wrong as there are a few developments in Jomtien.

Ok. Guess it must be? Strange description in that case :-)

 

Found it on TripAdvisor and WarmStay as well but identical info and no reviews.

 

I'm sure some kind BM 'on the ground' will try to check it out for you. ;-)

 

Edit: I am still a bit confused but it's a while since I've been in that area.

The empty lot you refer to is where they're going to build that new hotel etc next to VT6.

 

I thought the bit of land next to it was the grounds of the old Siam Bayview?

Did they develop it when they refurbished the hotel into The Bayview?

 

As I said, a while since I was there so I may be missing something???

I highly doubt that house is between Soi9 and 10, that's exactly where Central Festival mall is located and I've never seen a house like the one in the pictures anywhere near that location.  However, it definitely looks like a house you'd find in Jomtien.  That's away from the 'action' and in my opinion, not worth the rates they're asking, unless they also provide a car and driver.

 

I'd ask the manager for the full address (and then look it up on Google Maps satellite), that's the only way you're going to know where it's really located.

There's three possibilities, its either a shady deal and doesn't exist, the info is really wrong or its brand new.

 

I have contacted them a second time,

 

"Could you please give me the exact details of the address, this is very important to me"

 

and got the reply,

 

"Hello Zach, In attached follow the map of Venerupis Villa. Best Regards David"

The availability calendar is slowly filling up which means it could be brand new...

 

Or simply its a total scam, the property doesn't exit hence why he is so pushy to get my deposit...

 

Ill jsut keep watching this and waiting for reviews to pop up.

 

In the mean time if anyone actually eyeballs this place please let me know...

Sorry about my last post in here, it appears i may have had a few drinks and just said what i was thinking

 

Has anyone ever stayed at Jomiten or North Pattaya Villas and made the commute to the 6 or WS before? Its seeming like the best option.

Lot's of villas on Pratumnak, which is pretty close to WS. I know the guy who rents out his 4 bedroom villa for 4000bht/night to give you kind of a price point.

As my trip is getting closer, I have been thinking of logistics of getting to and from our Villa to Walking Street and the rest of the Sois.

 

What would be my best form of transport?

 

Does anyone know the Baht Bus Route and if it would be accessible from where Im staying.

 

Edit - I am more or less just on the other side of the hill...

 

I have mapped out a walking route, although I don't particularly want to walk everywhere.

I just had a look at it,  looks very nice I think if you budget in 2,000tb per day for electric and you get a discount as listed then you have found a good deal.

 

It is on the BB route 10bt into town.
