Condoms & Lube - Part II - ruay's recommendations

I posted a Condoms & Lube report about about two years ago, and thought I'd provide an update.

 

Here's ruay's analysis along with some stats:

 

 

I'm pretty much down to four (4) condoms at this point:

 

Thin and Sensitive:

 

For thin and sensitive, my favorite, by far, is the Okamoto 004:

 

 

 

Okamoto is the same company that makes Crown Skinless, but I very much prefer this over the Crown and the Okamoto 004 is ruay's top recommendation for a thin and sensitive condom.

 

Ribbed & Studded:

 

Pretty much, this is an alternative feeling for the partner.  Women tend to love them, hate them, or are willing to try something a little different.  Of all the ribbed and studded, or non-smooth condoms out there, this one is my favorite, thin and sensitive as well:

 

 

I prefer the Ria Wrangler over the Impulse Bare Pleasure and the other brands tend to be a little too snug.  The Ria Wrangler is ruay's recommendation in the ribbed and studded category.

 

Extra Strength:

 

 

I actually like these Trustex condoms. They're strong, but also on the thinner side according to the chart.  Also, the colors can be fun as well.

 

Sometimes, if you want to desensitize, here's the thickest condom I know, and the only Lifestyles condom I'll ever recommend:

 

ruay only recommends this condom when you want to desensitize, last longer, or save your load for another girl shortly after.

 

Lubes:

I also bring some sex toys along, vibrators etc, which are very hard to find good quality at good prices in Thailand.  Girls tend to really love these as most do not have experience with such toys.

I normally use "Trojan Sensitivity Bareskin." Here are the specs:  

"Thinnest Trojan latex condom with a 0.046mm thickness, lubricated, classic straight shape.  Width: 2.05" (52mm), Length: 7.8″ (198mm)"

 

However, I just ordered the "Okamoto 004" due to your recommendation. 

 

Regarding jell.  I highly recommend "Liquid Silk."  I have never had a better experience, and all the girls tell me the same.

Here are two other Okamoto Condoms:

You can buy the Okamoto 003 in Thailand.  It's not clear if these have the same specifications as the 004, but there's been some discussion here in the past as to whether or not these are the same, or similar.

For those of you who complain that the condoms break or that you need extra large, here's a couple of things to keep in mind.

 

If you the condom breaks, you're probably not putting it on properly.  Condoms have very strong bearing strength and you want to put them on such that there's bearing stress, or hoop-stress, and not sheer stress.  Make it it's not pushing or pulling on the shaft sideways.  No one has enough of a powerful ejaculation to break through the tip of the condom.  I've never had a condom break on me during intercourse.

 

For those who insist you need extra large, the following is the Cumulative Distribution of Penis Length:

 

 

Median - 5-3/4 inches (this means that 50% of the population is above this length and 50% is below 5.75 inches)

 

The chart above shows length (in inches) on the horizontal axis, and percentile on the vertical axis.

 

If you're 7-inches in length, you're in the 95th percentile and have a longer penis than 95% of the western male population.

 

If you're 9-inches in lenth, you're in the 99th percentile, and have a longer penis than 99% of the western male population.

 

There's similar data and charts for girth (circumference) as well.

Regarding gel.  I highly recommend "Liquid Silk."  I have never had a better experience, and all the girls tell me the same.

Sytem Jo silicon lube wasnt mentioned. I tried many lubes and this stuff is the goods. I could fuck an ear hole with this stuff.... tried other silicon lubes but this was the best

I wouldn't use sex toys because i've had a lot of experience where once the Thai girl cums she loses interest. The few girls that are up for multiple orgasms are great fun though.

I have limited lube experience, like Astroglide the. Most of those availablein LOS, but only the Purple version, the green one goes dry too quickly, KY and the Durex gels are too sticky for my liking.

 

Durex Comfort has served me well, never had one break on me.

I used to be a great fan of the okamoto 0.04s -that was before I discovered the holy grail of condoms -sagami 0.02 large and sagami 0.01

Great info here thanks for the post. I've been a long time fan of the 003 here in Thailand. Never heard of 004... I find these are a bit dry compared to others such as durex and lifestyles so lube is a must.

 

You just blew my mind with the pocket sized lubes... Brilliant idea. I have a bottle of Durex Play in the drawer but I never thought of picking up some small bottles for the road. Need to do some shopping. Stay safe guys!
