Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh taxi

Does anyone know of a reliable taxi service that will come to my hotel on time in Snookyville and get me to the airport on time in Phnom Penh?

 

I have never been to Cambodia before and am trying to plan a trip now but I don't know how abundant or reliable taxis there are.

 

Also would most hotels or guesthouses be able to arrange an airport transfer?

Most hotels can arrange taxis , bus tickets , ect for you . 

Reliable is not really a Cambodian thing though ...

I did the opposite trip (PP --> SHV) last year by taxi. Arranged my transport thru my hotel. I can tell you it was the most harrowing taxi ride I have ever been on. We were passing two and three cars at a time on a two lane road. I white knuckled it almost the whole way. One narrow miss with a small truck. That stretch of road is teeming with large hauling trucks and buses.

 

Take my advice -- go with Giant Ibis bus transport. Just tell the driver you need to be dropped at the airport and they'll let you get off instead of taking you back to the station first.
