Street spagetti

One hung low

Recommended Posts

After reading af this place in a previous thread, I have it a go last night. It rivaled any spaghetti I have tried anywhere, prices ranged from around 80 baht to just over 100 baht. I had the bolognese, and sprinkled with real cheese, for 105 baht. It was great, I will be back, and she is actually quite busy.

great food , and a great location !!

Agree ... I'm not a big eater but I scoffed down 2 serves of her spaghetti one night ... actually that's not completely true ... I fell asleep eating the 2nd serve and woke up in the morning with a TG next to me in bed covered in spaghetti. So I ate her for breakfast 5555

This place is already on my to do list on the next trip. I have previous skipped this place. Because for one thing over 100B for street food is expensive. and 2 nothing particarly thai over spagetti. But after have read all the good reviews about it, I will absolutly give it a try next time.

have eaten there multiple times... real good food... and yes, a LadyBoy runs the food stall, but she also has another gal working there who is not a LadyBoy... I usually go with the spaghetti with tomato sauce... I have her spice it up with some sautéed garlic and chili, which I pay an extra 20 THB for... I take it toGO normally and eat it in my condo... she is open till the wee hours so if you are done with your hardPartying and have the munchies, she is probably open (unless you are getting out of a disco/club at 6:30AM)...

Retired in Pattaya, Thailand - arrived April 1, 2014... Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh... LiveN my dream!

Used it many times. It's all good. To newbies I just explain the location as opposite subways at the top of soi Diana. Always busy but worth the wait. U can eat it there or take it away. Damn I miss it.

Eaten food from there many times but back in Loom I always seem to get it all over the place, its worth every baht particularly as a late night top up.

Not sure how a street food vendor is going to cook the pasta right, unless she sells so much it isn't standing for more than 3 or 4 minutes, but i'm certainly not going to dismiss it without trying it. Thanks for the tip :)

Tried the Spagetti stall during my last trip in September/October 2014, took the portion back to my room and was a pretty good late night snack and hit the spot after a long night of drinking. Not bad at all if you aren't up for the Thai food cart options around that area that your TG will most likely have thier eye on.

I really like cart food when its not super spicy but like to vary my intake, I more often eat late at night from tin cup or hole in the wall. I have only ever had one decent donner so generally give them a miss now but like to try other things the street vendors offer even some of their variations of non Thai food.

I like the spaghetti at the stand down just a little further on Soi Diana.  Nice lady that runs it and they have a really good roast beef sandwich as well.
