Has anyone stayed at i-Rovers? The food doesn't interest me, I only would like a review of their rooms.

Stayed there once. Cheap and cheerful. Clean and nice rooms. However i didnt like the idea of walking through the bar to get to my room tbh. If you dont mind that then its a good budget hotel in the heart of the action

Hey @bobbyg, thanks for replying! I am considering staying there a few nights as LK Metro is one of the two main spots I focus my acitivities around when I'm in Pattaya. The other one is Soi 6 and I have been eyeing the Queen Vic as well.

I guess they are both a similar experience, you have to walk through a bar area to get to your room. No idea whether I'd like that. No pool, obviously but I don't need one. Breakfast? Same, I honestly don't care. Location is unbeatable and so is the price. My main concerns are:

  • Do they have a lockbox in the room?
  • Is there a reception where I can leave my key? (And are they always open?)
  • Is it too loud? I rarely go to sleep before 2 a.m. in Pattaya.
  • How does the bed feel?
  • How bad are the showers?
  • How hard is it to get a room? Can I just walk in during low season (July/August) and expect to get one?
  • Anything else that's worth mentioning?

Thanks!

No pool or breakfast included in either Queen Vic or I Rovers

They both have in room safe

They both have reception where you can leave key

Youll be fine if you dont go to sleep till 2am

Beds were fine as far as i can remember

Showers were fine

Not sure about walk in. Best to go on their site or Agoda/Booking.com to see availability

Both good budget hotels. Just didnt like the idea of walking through the bar. Although at Queen Vic you can enter from Soi 6/1 after around 1am i think

Does the side facing the pool, no balcony?
