Cathay Pacific Sale from UK

If anyone is looking for a flight to BKK in the next few months, Cathay have a 6 day sale on

 

£372 return from Heathrow, £340 from Manchester. Limited dates.

 

Netflights show for Jan and Feb departures only but Trailfinders email says up to second week in June.

Haven't checked for actual availability - you have to phone Trailfinders, but I've never found them pushy only helpful.

Just looked at these and a very good price .........but it appears that some of their planes have shell seats that are hard and don't recline!

This shell seats thing is true. I just flew back from Bangkok to Japan and had this problem. Fortunately the in flight service was impeccable and made up for that. That said, long haul passengers won't be happy!

It seems from looking at Trip Advisor that many people prefer the shell seats and many dislike them!

 

I love the idea of the seat in front not intruding into my space, but many comments about seats being hard?

I just couldn't take the gamble whether I'd like the seats or not.

 

Don't care about seat in front reclining .....just recline mine .....problem solved

Another Cathay sale on from the UK.

 

Very limited dates. Flying out some dates in April flying back some dates in May, around £430.

 

If it happens to fit in with dates you want to go then looks a good deal.

 

If anyone wants to go to Australia there are return flights to Brisbane on a few dates for £510. Can't remember flights so cheap!
