lots of cheap LAX-BKK airfares for late August/early September

I usually book my August/September flight pretty early and I don't think I've seen LAX-BKK rates this low before.  I picked up a RT ticket on Eva for $784.  There was actually one for $754, but it was an afternoon flight and I prefer the red-eyes to BKK.  China Air also seems to be throwing some cheap-ish flights out there as well.  Looking into September, even ANA/United get into the act with flights under $800.  Usually if I find something for under $1000, I consider that pretty good.

 

Anyway, if you're looking into a trip in late August or September that takes you through LAX on the way to BKK, I recommend checking the prices now.  I'm not sure how much lower they can get.
