Not sure what happened there but I wasnt finished but was going to say I know my risk is very low but should get get tested before I sleep with a girl back home? The talk of strain sub class E being being alot more contagious in thailand amongst hetro sexuals has me slightly alarmed

By the way Ive never had an std and Im still planning on a trip to to patts in may but just wondering if its fair to sleep with girls back home without a test

What was the time period ...you last trip ....

Yes!

The question is why on earth would you not get tested? It's free and confidential.

Of course it isn't fair on girls back home......do you really need to ask that question??

Get it sorted.

If your worried about , that's enough of a reason to get tested , even though your probably fine , it will put your mind at ease.

HIV testing - you risk is very very low.. The odds are astronomically in your favour you will not have contracted HIV from the activities you describe. You do not need to rush to get tested. Everybody that is sexually active should be tested annually.

Other STD - by performing oral sex on a female and being a receptive partner of oral sex yourself you placed yourself at some risk of other STDs (chlamydia, gonnorhoea, syphillis, Herpes etc). If you are asymptomatic 10-14 days down the line you are probably fine but you should get a routine sexual health check.

I know my risk is low but its this sub class E strain which has me slightly alarmed, I would like to also add I have never caught an std or to me more specific never had symptoms of one

No testing warrented. You have not had an exposure. It's as simple as that

On the ground in Pattaya? Arriving Soon? Have LINE installed on your phone?

Join the (unofficial) Pattaya-Addicts group on LINE and meet a fellow monger for a beer or 10.

Pop into see Larry at babydolls or noddy at butterfly bar to be added.

A test is only required if you have been barebacking and intend to keep barebacking, otherwise continue to play safe and no test is required..

It's rare, but you can catch a couple STDs from unprotected oral sex (source: NHS).  Some of those have little or no symptoms so you may not know you have them.

You shouldn't be worried, because those are generally easily treatable, but it's still a good idea to get tested periodically (every 6 or 12 months) just to be sure.

Alot more contagious, is a tougher version of the virus ,is transmitted primarily by hetrosexuals

If your wearing a condom you are at no risk, wrap up plain and simple.
