About 90% have been removed today from the beach, not just folded, but disappeared from most of the beach.

Do you know if this is temporary or maybe it is like they did in Patong beach when the dictatorship started?

There is a new law. Remove them at night, restrict their spread and leave room on the beach for those that don't want to use them. Includes some other stuff too but I've forgotten all the details. Read about it in a local paper last month.
