Living with in the frozen north of the UK, the regular Sure & Right Guard ones work for me, but need something better for Thailand, was thinking of roll ons maybe, or the more expensive ones like Mitchum....so what do other folk use??

Mucho thanks.

I use pla ra - fermented fish sauce - same stuff that is the secret sauce in som tam pu pla ra... apparently the pla ra gives off phermones that Thai girls flock to... I also spread a goodly amount, evenly, on my taint_al region (down where the sun never shines!!)...

Retired in Pattaya, Thailand - arrived April 1, 2014... Ohhhhh yeahhhhhh... LiveN my dream!

Axe or whatever brand strikes me at the local drugstore.

It has to be deodorant only and not anti perspirant because of rash issues.

have you seen those ones that are like a block of salt in a push up tube? all natural and don't stop sweating but stop the smell ....which is deodrant, of course

whatever is on special in Asda the week before, tend to go for the 72 hour ones though, Not that I want it to last 72 hours as it will be washed of 5 or 6 times in that timespan but if it can last 72 hours ( eugh) it can probably do a few hours in patts.

Usually use the same Right Guard that I do at home- just more of it and more frequently.

Some talc on the nether regions can help as well.

must be the pussy juice that "worldpunter" talked about - a nice smell

I use a clear gelstick antipersp and antideodorant myself

Also, even more effective - shave!  armpits at a minimum - I shave everything off - keeps me cooler, less smelly, TGs like it, all good.  hair is where the stink is

Think like a VC - fail quickly, try often

Yes I remember those and used it once but don't remember how effective it was.

I use Dricor/Dryclor. You apply it at night and wash off in the morning. You will itch like crazy the first few times you use it until you get used to it.

You apply a couple of times a week initially, eventually hardly at all. I apply once every 2-3 months. You wont sweat at all and you wont need to apply any other product (although I use a spray for scent). Also works for sweaty hands as well apparently.

There is a product at boots drugs called bionics and it is an all natural roll on.  My friend here 10 years told me about it and I was skeptical at first but it is the best antiperspirant I have ever used.  I even introduced my friend to to it and he and his wife insist I send it to them overseas.  It is not cheap but lasts a long time and is impressive.

Nivea invisible or dry impact both work great. Sweating is inevitable, the goal is to avoid stinking of sour sweat.

Nivea Gel roll on which I buy in the UK, seems to work good enough in Thailand, that plus a couple of showers everyday keeps the everything fresh, but then I'm thin and dont sweat that much - I spent the entire winter in UK shivering so that weather in Thailand Jan/Feb is usually just right for me.

I use in Thailand the Paco Rabanne 1 million deo stick together with the eau de toilette and whenever a girl comes near she says... ooooh smell nice.

Its about 500 baht but I think they have the buy one get one free promotion.  Its a good size stick and will last a long time.  They have changed it from a roll on but still equally effective as a stick.
