New Party Venue

I am introducing this venue on behalf of a friend. It may be an attractive alternative to a beer or go-go bar for a party.

The place is called Nawab and is located on the corner of Pratamnak Road and Soi5. It used to be a fairly dingy Indian restaurant. My friend took over the place a few months ago and has transformed the place.

The restaurant now has three kitchens: Seafood, Indian (Punjab) and Thai with 3 separate chefs, Thai and Indian. The venue itself has three sections:

- an undercover area with nice dining tables.

- an open area organised with tables set in an exotic garden setting

- AND – and this is the idea for a party venue - “an elevated beer garden in a tree top”. I know, it sounds a bit weird but the pictures will tell.

Let's have a look.

The undercover area.

The open area. See the large tree in the background, this is what I am talking about.

This is what it looks like.

This deck/beer garden has seating for 24 people and standing room for a lot more. The area just below the stairs is also available and can take a few dozen people.

You can negotiate a buffet service with the owner. A charcoal roasted pig can be organised. Otherwise, can can choose buffet dishes like grilled prawns, grilled crab, grilled fish, chicken Tandori, prawn Tandori, veal Vindaloo and the standard accomplishments like salads, fried rice etc. Singha draught beer is on tap and bottled beer of most brands as well as German beer and all type of liquors are available.

You can also order whatever music you prefer. An excellent loudspeaker system surrounds the area and there are TV monitors for any concerts or programs you may want to watch. Thee is also a large projecting screen that can be seen from the beer garden and will give a good view of things like the Olympics, tonight's football game, or any recorded concert or music show.

There are no working girls in the place. Some party organisers may see this as an advantage, others as a disadvantage. The disadvantage is that there are no girls, the advantage is that there is no excess baggage in this regards and guests are welcome to bring their own girls along. The owner can also arrange for a selection of girls to attend, either from a well known massage establishment or from a nearby bar venue, but this would add to the cost of course.

So the attractions of this venue are:

- A secluded beer garden in a leafy treetop environment.

- An exotic open-air garden setting.

- An undercover restaurant available if it rains.

- Large projection screen for any sports events or any recorded concert.

- The venue will stay open as long as you want to party.

- Nice, clean newly constructed bathroom facilities.

- A large variety of food cooked on the premises (seafood, Indian, Thai).

- Large off-street parking area adjacent to the beer garden platform.

- It even has basic overnight bamboo huts if you want to pass out or explore something of a more intimate nature.

Disclaimer: I haven no financial interest in this restaurant and do not accept any kickbacks. I am, however, in another business partnership with the owner and we have an office adjacent to the restaurant. It is called Eagle Golf Tours Co Ltd and I will introduce this business in another thread.

Anyone interested to arrange a party here can PM me and I will put you in contact with the owner, or you can can me on arrival on (086) 821 1796. My name is Alex.

Thank's for the recommendation.

I drove over there at around midday on Friday.

Yesterday.

My friend and I were hanging out for some Indian food.

We went to Tika at 11.30.

The roller door was half up so it appeared as though

they might be getting ready to serve meals.

I saw the mobile number on the door.

I called it and they said they were open.

Then I told the guy Iwas at the front door LOL

Ooooo

"You here?"

"Yes"

"mmmmmm ahhhh eerrrrrrrrrr"

"You open?"

"Open 2pm"

LOL

Too long for us to wait.

So I remembered reading this post.

We jumped in the car and drove over to Nawab.

This was well worth the drive.

We took a table in the tree.

The breeze was fresh and so was the food.

Absolutely delicious. AROY or ALOY

Great service.

You want Thai food? They have a Thai food waitress Khun FAR.

You want Indian food. Then along comes the Indian food waiter.

I will go back.

Next time I will try the seafood.

It will be a great place to take your TEELUK if she is into Isan food.

Mine is and I will take her there soon.

Thanks

Love the Life
