I left a similar question some time ago but got no feedback whatsoever,a BM has stayed there and left a few positive comments(page 3 of this section entitled season five & baan khun nine) but he dosnt post regularly,i just read trip advisor and the Agoda reviews.

I`ve had my eye on the place for this years trip, but its a bit more expensive than similar standard hotels like see me spring, Page 10, etc, also these hotels are in a better area in my opinion, this in itself wouldnt put me off staying, as i like the idea of staying in a new hotel where everythings shiny and new.It would be good to have one or two first hand accounts from BM`s.

I actually stay and have stayed in Best Beach Villa every year (even now!) and found it to be a gem of a place

I tried looking up the rates this year for both the new hotels mentioned above and can report that Best Beach Villa was VFM... The rooms are spacious and clean , staff very helpful, has a pool and gym (never tried it out!) and the food and drinks are very reasonable!

Can't recommend it enough!

I have stayed here.Posted about it a few months ago,but haven't been on the forum for months as it upsets me to see what I'm missing out on stuck in the UK with no money! Couldn't really fault it,brand new so it is spotless.Asked the guy on reception one night if there was a joiner fee for 2 girls & he said no.Didn't try it out tho,but I made it clear to him what I meant.

It is a slight cut above Page 10 & the Sea Me hotels which I have stayed in.Very quiet at night.Checked for July 2015 & I think it came up on Agoda at £53 a night I think, which is a bit overpriced in my eyes, but costs to people are all relative.

Thanks, I'm getting a rate of £46 a night for the 14th Jan so I think I will give it a go, looks like the rooms are a fair size for the price, especially when I had planned on staying at the Aya for slightly more & the rooms are about 30% smaller

It would be great if you could leave a review of sorts when you get the chance(if you do book it of course)not really got a proper first hand account of the place from a BM yet, apart from baggy67`s comments.

I think it's part of the 'seame' family, so I wouldn't mind staying there.

  • 1 month later...

Anyone stayed at Season Five lately? Could do with some feedback on that place

It had been on my list for a while but the more time goes on the less appealing it is,this is gonna sound daft but one of the reasons is theres only a bathtub with a shower,no seperate shower cubicle.Apparently water goes all over the bloody place cos there isnt even a shower curtain(or there wasnt). For the price this is pretty poor i think, everything else looks fine, although the location could be better, although if you`r e Soi6 person thats close by.

I get your drift, I'm the same prefer walk in in showers too.

The appeal for me was the rooms look bloody enormous but a no no if no separate shower though
