very nice and helpful forum. need advice as i am planning a visit to Pattaya by the first week of march 2015, need help in finding hotel room. also do these hotels allow night guests in. will be greatful to share your experience and advices. 

 

what sort of budget is required for a 10 day stay in Pattaya to have an unforgetable time of my life.

Most hotels allow guests in free of charge although some charge a fee so do your homework beforehand,spend time looking in the accomodation section and that way you will surely get a few ideas as to what sounds ok for you.

Budget for a 10 day stay in pattaya.???....pattaya can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be,the general concensus on here seems to be between 5 and 10 thousand baht a day(and more)i would budget on the high side,it really is all about the individual and what his plans are.Hopefully a few more BM`s will add a few more pointers.Do some research,honestly its worth it.

Do you have any idea which area of Pattaya you would like stay in?

am planning my stay near Walking Street, as i read on different forums, beach road is very active for the night lovers aswell, but mostly people recommended to stay as possible as near Walking Street

That would all depend wether you do the gogo`s or stick to the beerbars and discos,7-8k baht a day is easily doable including hotel.If you do the gogo`s on a regular basis though you can go through your money quickly if you dont discipline yourself.

One area where you can save money is by not drinking during the day,if you`re only an occasional drinker as you say then 7-8k a day budget will be fine.

These are two good cheap hotels (that are guest friendly) that are right on/or near Walking St.

The prices start at about 900 baht and they are both clean and convenient. There are

a lot of other hotels nearby so look around on hotel sites (or here: http://www.pattaya-addicts.com/forum/forum/126-hotels-accommodations-in-pattaya/) if you need to do more research.

I'd budget at least 100,000 baht (about $3,000 not including airfare) for a ten day vacation, but everyone has a different idea of what an ideal budget is.

P72 has been there ages hasent  Lyle,well over 20 years as a bar at least,not sure how long its had rooms but for someone who wants a place to stay right in the heart of the action its ideal and not overpriced,there might be better options i dont know, but the OP at least has a couple of pointers to get started.

For 10 days - staying on Walking Street can be little overwhelming. I would suggest staying a little away, maybe on Bukakhow area. Transport is cheap. 

 

7-8K a day is enough if you want to have a good time (but again this is subjective).

10 day stay I would stay around Soi 13.  Sandy Spring hotel, Whitehouse Condotel. 10k a day not including hotel and flights for unforgettable time.
