Cheap flights from LAX to BKK

This is a great price, I just put in a random date. It does have a long layover on the trip over.

I pulled this from a site called cheapoair.com

I got a fare from Southern China Airlines for $780 round trip for Jan 23 to April 19. I like this airlines since it has the Airbus A380 which is a nice airplane with great movies and seats.

Last week, I booked R/T LAX to BKK (with a layover in Incheon) in early March 2015 with Asiana Airlines for $838. Asiana is my regular airline on this route and I highly recommend them. The LAX to Incheon segment is now flown by new A380's.

Just a quick question - I will be travelling from vegas to bangkok in 2016. What is the best way to go? Direct from LAX?

Should i stopver in holalulu for a couple of days and fly from there?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

The arrival time of the China Airlines flight at 10.00am in BKK is nice...unfortunately the service on China Airlines is not that great (compared to ANA, Cathay Pacific, SIngapore, etc.).

I do not always use them but when I have there has never been a problem with using them. YMMV

IMHO you should always search a few sites to get a feeling of what the prices are.

Most airlines will route through LAX then on to Tokyo Narita or Taipei. Korean Airlines has direct Vegas to Seoul then onward. I just check prices, layovers and total trip time then choose the best balance.

Any stop over in Hawaii is probably an expensive routing.

Cheers ctm. Very helpful info. I recently spoke with friends who told me flights were quiet expensive from hawaii to the mainland. We have jetstar here who sometimes do $350 flights from Oz to hawaii

I am going to suss out prices from the east coast also as thinking of visiting new york, miami and maybe new orleans

I would check EVA air.  I always fly with them good plane, good seat and only 2 hour layovers.  Current cheapest price in May is $705.

Last week, I scored open jaw tickets on EVA for $791, all in (LAX-BKK, MNL-LAX). May 2015 departure. Cheapest I've seen in years.
