Reliable taxi from BKK airport to Pattaya? Cannot reach Meow..

Greetings all.

 

My flight will be arriving at 11:55PM in January, so I will require a taxi to bring me to Pattaya.

 

I'd much rather schedule transportation as opposed to picking up a taxi when I'm at the airport, based on the numerous horror stories I've heard from other board members.

 

I was in contact with Meow Ponchai ([email protected]) but she has not written back to me in a few days.

 

I've heard varying things about Mr. T taxi, another taxi service called PB, etc..  Can anyone with current / recent experience suggest a quality service?

I've used Mt T with mixed results.

Recently, a thread was added about the taxi service of a good friend of mine, Nam, a cute 27 year old, who runs her own business. She had to decline a few jobs because she found she got too busy and didn't want to end up falling asleep at the wheel.

 

But I just checked with her, and she has obtained the services of her elder sister to assist her.
Sis is 29, at least as cute as Nam, and also a careful driver.

 

So now they may also be working later hours..

I used Meow last night. Actually get friend Jenny picked up the job as Meow is busy. Very good and safe driving.

 

You can't really expect Meow to be a penpal. She's running a business. Just do what I did and email to organize your pick up. Then one confirmation email the day before.

I have used Meow before, on the recomendations of other BM's. She did take 2 or 3 days to get back to me, but all very good after that. My flight was 3 hours late but they were still there when i landed with an sms while i walking to customs.

  Got from swampy to hotel in 1 hour.

yep, my experience too, most of the time I am coming in on the late flights from Narita, and they have always been there...

 

I would give Nam first shot, then call PT...

Iv never tried nam, but PT has served me well for the past few years, even the time when I landed and it was flooded everywhere, my taxi guy took me some unknown roads and got me to pattaya in one piece, haha
