April Suites - Size of in room safe

Recommended Posts

I am staying at the April Suites in several weeks time.

Can anyone let me know if the in room safe is big enough for a 10.5 inch tablet.

I am going to Pattaya twice in 2015 and I thought I would invest in a decent tablet for the flights.

I sent an email to the hotel a couple of days ago but I am still awaiting a reply.

I was there 2 months ago, hmm 10.5, dunno man it might be too big I think, but the iPad Mini would fit no problem.

Stayed there November and its standard sized safe.

IMO 10 inch may just be OK but couldn't be sure.

It will be tight.

Thanks for the replies.

I keep changing my mind about which tablet to buy.

It is probably just going to be used for my flights to Thailand for the foreseeable future.

I was after one with a good battery life and the latest Samsung's seem to fit the bill. Rather expensive though.

Thought I would buy a tablet because the screen in the back of the seats of KLM flights are tiny. I presume the screens with all airlines are the same.

When the person sitting in front of me puts their seat back I then have to slide down in the seat to watch the screen and this is very uncomfortable.

I paid £60 extra each way on my last trip for a better seat. No problem stretching out with an isle seat beside an emergency exit, but I don't want to pay £120 extra each trip, so for me buying a tablet seems a better option.

Not that this has much to do with my original question about the size of the room safe in April Suites.

See attached photos of the April Suites safe.

I have stayed in hotels with smaller safes, and I would say this is as large as it gets for hotel safes that I have encountered in Thailand in the April Suites price range.

Thank you for the pictures joeaf.

Looks like the safe will easily hold my tablet.

Thinking of booking this hotel for a few days. Is the bed soft?

Cheers.

It's over a year since I stayed at April Suites, but I seem to remember the safe being pretty big as shown in the pics!
