RIYADH (AFP) - Opec will not cut oil production even if the price drops to $20 a barrel and it is unfair to expect the cartel to reduce output if non-members do not, Saudi Arabia said.

Actually he Saudis are not too happy about the shale oil boom in the US, who are now the largest producer of oil in the world. BUT, America can't produce it for less than €66 a barrel due to how expensive it is to extract the oil. So the Saudis are hoping to drive the US out of business.
