Pattaya Blue Sky Hotel, Soi 5!

Would appreciate any comments anyone can offer about Pattaya Blue Sky hotel, Soi 5. Website is about as helpful as a limp-dick!

 

Booking.com quotes B1400/night for NOV (high season). This is well within my means.

 

Responders need not bother speaking to the area. I am already very familiar with it. MANY THANX!

Did a quick search of the Forum and a couple of BM's said they'd booked it for future trips. One is meant to be there now. Perhaps he'll post a TR.

 

The other BM said it charges for more than one guest at a time, but hasn't actually stayed yet.

There's a couple of us booked at the Blue Sky in February. We did some checking and as long as you book for 2 people then there's no joiner fee.  

 

It has good reviews and met most of our requirements (pool, balconies, near Soi 6, etc.). Link from an earlier thread below:

I've stayed at the Blue Sky hotel twice (two 8 day visits). I can confirm it is guest Friendly (one guest).

 

For me its good hotel, but a bit far from the action (but you know this!). Also there is only one elevator (can be a long wait if busy) and the corridors are not air-conditioned. No buffet breakfast (cooked to order). Don't believed the booking sites when they claim a "Sea View".

 

I have a full review with photos on TripAdvisor. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to to post a link here, but it should not be that difficult to find.

Have booked blue sky for 8 day stay in March.

 

Was getting a really good deal during black friday weekend (around THB 750/day inc. breakfast - it wasn't a straightforward way of booking, I had to do 8 separate bookings as this site was offering discount of 45% per hotel booking and the discount was limited to a maximum amount of around THB900 per booking)

Done it a couple of times mate (never had a ploblem except for travelodge where my key card was disabled at the checkout time but the front desk sorted it out for me)
