Thailand women's volleyball team, powered by national spikers including Tapaphaiphan Chaisri and Pornpun Guedpard got off to a brilliant start in the 17th Asean University Games Volleyball Championship in Palembang, Indonesia on Tuesday after thrashing Singapore in a totally lop-sided battle 25-8 25-8 25-12 in the single round-robin competition.
