Page 10 v Areca Evergreen

I have had quotes from both places for my next 14 day stay in March 15 and would like to hear from anyone who has stayed in both superior rooms at both places.

My understanding is that Page 10 charges no extra for multiple guests and there is construction going on near areca but not effecting the evergreen building.

Cheers in advance

Areca any day, I stayed a few months ago despite the construction would prefer it to Page 10. Great location, clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff, two pools, few families more mongerers. I like the block facing Soi Diana even though a bit old because every green block is a long walk. The rates of the hotel are reasonable and the street is rocking.

Living sober, clean and staying away from loose women doesn't make a man live any longer. It just fucking feels like it.

Thought both were good, would stay at both again.

Im a soi 13 guy but am getting more and more drawn to the idea of soi 10. Once you get drawn into soi diana/buakhao, you are in a different world…the budget world.

Price discussions are killing my mood and my illusions.

Stayed in Areca in March 2014 - agree with comments above. I was in a renovated room in Corona wing, good, clean, nice decor etc. Staff are really friendly, the breakfast is good and you have a choice of 2 pools. The plus for me is that once inside the pools area you are away from road noise etc and it has almost a resort feel. I'm going back again next March.

You can't go wrong with either, my opinion is that Areca's Evergreen is slightly better, nicer pools, noise free and better location (same easy access to 2nd road but at the heart of LK metro).
