Will this slow down the Japan tourists? Doubt it. -- One thing for sure is the U.S. Dollar soaring against all currencies and no indication it will slow down anytime soon, Oil prices dropping like a rock and a gallon of gas in the USA is now cheaper than a gallon of milk!

I didn't need this downgrade to know to stay away from buying Japanese debt. They have been heading down a bad path for some years now.
