What hospital/clinic would be recommended for spot on skin

I will be visiting Pattaya in March and think I should have a spot on my skin looked at by a good doctor.  Obviously I think it may be a melanoma or something similar and would like to have it removed.

I suppose the obvious choice would be the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya, but I have heard that there is a hospital in Sattahip (I believe called the Queen's Hospital) that is also supposed to be good.

I have never had any kind of medical procedure done in Thailand and any recommendations or testimonials would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd get it diagnosed at home to find out exactly what the issue is. After that you can research where to get it treated in LOS.

I thought Pattaya/Bangkok Hospital is very good . Like above said , I think you should get it checked at home before seeing a Thai doctor . Two opinions is better than one .

If you think it's a melanoma then waiting 4 months to see a Doc' is a bit risky.  Those little buggers can spread like wildfire if they metastasise and can end up terminal.  Why risk it?

I appreciate healthcare can be expensive in the US, but if it is a melanoma and it's caught early it's just a case of having it removed.  If it's growing then the surgery becomes more intrusive the longer you leave it, and if it gets to metastasise then.........

A friend of mine has twice had "spots" removed at Pattaya International Hospital and was very pleased with the service and price.

i just have a check on my beauty spot at La Nitivedee clinic.

Was said it have to removed anyway with biopsy.

I was quoted 7000bath all included.

I scared it have not to be removed and that the surgeon is not a good one.

I also have some fat cysts on scrotum to be removed, was quoted 3000b for the first and 1000b form the remaining 3, looks like too much imho.

I will have a 2nd check in Bangkok Hospital here in pattaya.

Any tips?
