Big guy cargo shorts? (Pattaya)

Does anyone know a place for a big guy to purchase cargo shorts in a 46-48" size? Maybe a business or guy that makes them custom. They make suits maybe they make shorts. I could use some t-shirts also. Thanks

They can certainly make you some cargo shorts at most of the suit shops, but buying them ready to go will be very difficult.  Take a picture or a pair you already have as an example.  I had some made out of linen on my last trip.  For t-shirts I know hard rock will sell all sizes, but again most stores sell smaller sizes.  I'm a 36 waist, and I have difficulties finding clothes ready to go, so I think the tailors are your best bet.

When my luggage was stuck somewhere in transit i had to go 3 days without clothing.  Trust me when i say its difficult finding a shirt that fits comfortably if your a bigger guy. i'm not the biggest guy but, i went to the mall and skipped all the brand name stores and skipped the ones on the racks with fancy designs  because i didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a fresh shirt.  I asked the worker for the biggest size they had for plain white t-shirts, when i got to putting it on it was skin tight. Like wearing a childs shirt.  The do carry everything in the malls so you could find cargo shorts but not all stores carry many of the larger sizes.

 

I also had a t-shirt made by one of the tailors they had it completed for me by the next afternoon. They can easily make cargo-like shorts as well, but they are going to continually try and pressure you into getting some polos, shoes, a jacket, or 12 pairs underwear you don't need and tell you how good of a deal you are getting and how its worth it because of the craftsmanship.

There's a t-shirt shop on 2nd Road, between Soi 7 and Central Road, that sells XXXL all cotton t-shirts.  Also, just up the street on Central Road (just before the Lengkee restaurant) is a jewelry store that has large cargo-ish shorts out front.  They are cargo style, but the fabric is patterned.  The shorts has elastic band and waistcord -- about 250 baht.  Nothing special, but enough for Pattaya.

There used to be a stall after the checkouts at Big C North Pattaya that sold XXXL size shorts.

I think there is a clothes shop in Central Festival Shopping Centre catering to the big Guys, might be on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

Mike shopping mall has excellent choice about four floors of clothing.You can't go wrong

There is a family mart opp LKR on Soi diana , at the entrance of the family mart , a Thai chap called " Chit " sells large size T shirt , I think 100 baht each ...

Yes i recall a shop specializeing bigger sized clothing in one of the shopping centres too,most likely the one you mention.

I buy all my shirts and cargo shorts (all large size) at Mikes shopping mall. The small clothing stalls on the ground floor, at the Beach Rd end, all stock big sizes.

Big C Extra on Pattaya Klang.  On the supermarket level but outside the supermarket itself there's a stall selling Cargos to fit every shape and size, including upwards of 50" (ie my size!).  Very reasonable prices.  Run by ex-GG dancer Noi (lovely) and  if you speak to her nicely you can try them on for size in the "fitting rooms"  - aka Gents toilet. (No she won't come and help with the fitting!).

Every Tuesday and Friday in the market at the top of Soi Buakhow.....to the left of the motor bike area, he has a huge selection.

Near bike parking area guy has the most but another place in the back

The shopping centre on the drinking street side of 2nd road in North Pattaya, nr Drinking Street used to have a Big and Tall shop on the 1st floor.

 

Cant for the life of me remember the name of the centre.
