Hotels with kitchenettes

Does anyone know any hotels with kitchenettes in Pattaya? Preferably close to the action somewhere between Walking Street to Soi 6? I think Jasmine hotel has a kitchenette. I was looking for more hotels to try out on my next trip. I usually prefer apartments for this reason, but this trip I want to move around and don't want to make a long term commitment with an apartment.

Forgot to add.. of course must be joiner friendly.

Some of the rooms at Canterbury Tales have a small kitchen. It's just off Soi Buakhow near LK Metro

Looks like they only have microwaves but no stoves? I will check them out.

Plenty of threads about Canterbury Tales and the owner is a board member. Easy to ask him.

Pretty much all the LK hotels have kitchenettes and VT6 but I dont know about under 2000 baht, depends on what time of year you're going!

Low season, VT6 next to Central from Honey, I got it for about 1800 baht....

He has at least two rooms with a full kitchen and living room.

PM him and ask for availability.

It seems pretty far from the action.

Not really, it's a 10-15 minute walk as I recall, and right on the baht bus route.

Wow, that is pretty impressive. Now I'm interested in your definition of "when available", as in how far in advance would one normally have to book?

Looks nice, but way out of budget! Looking for something under 2000 baht.

Yep @mind is now way overpriced;in february 2013 i payed about 1800 baht for delux studio with kitchenette(btw didnt like it much);now its about 3000 baht.

"Diamond City Place" on S. Pattaya Rd. Superior room has a small seperate kitchen w/ Stove/ Fridge and All untensils. large Room, Balcony, Cold air Con. Dinning table. I stayed there for a month, 15000 bahts, close to  Freindship Supermarket, I used to buy eggs , bread , pork chops ect. veggies for vegetable salad, She even made a few stirfrys for me, I even bought a rice cooker. for those late night dinners with your Barfine because not many places open at 2 or 3 in the morning. Maids do all the dishes also. Security guard in front of lobby all night. Large Bathtub.Very discreet hotel no Joiner fee, lady & ladyboy freindly also. Small Pool, also no Bar noise or music blaring when i stayed there. There was also a drying rack for clothes on the balcony so your girl can wash her undies in the morning and dry them in the sun with your washed boxers.and t shirts lol. Laundry service next to hotel. There is even a place up the street where u go and cook your own food Fish, pork , chicken. I didnt see beef though & veggies. all you can eat for one price. Large open late night market on S.pattaya rd.close to 2nd rd.where u can buy food already cooked on the way home.fried chicken, roast chicken ,cooked fish, sticky rice.Pork & even Octopus cooked.& Corn on the Cob. Im a "Chow hound" so food is just as essential to me as Pussy . And the Drug store / fruit store next to Tucom building where u get your Apcalis. Nice quiet lobby off the main street, no one to look and gawk at your barfine, ladyboy or bargirl or whatever.  Enjoy...............

Time for a Dubie !!

Thanks for this info. I am on the verge of booking this place currently. Can anyone confirm whether the Superior room definitely also has a kitchen & stove? Because on their website it's only the Deluxe room which lists a dining area

Personally the last thing I want to do on holiday is cook.

Unless of course you do a Thai cookery course and want to practice 555555,

English breakfast is the only farang meal I cannot give up, other than that I eat Thai food.

I know that Jump formerly from The Irish Rovers (now ReTox) knows his way around a kitchen.

His wife Nana is a gem, really friendly girl and honest.

Personally, I totally love to cook. Any kind of food, including thai. I totally hate doing dishes, though.

Best opportunity for this that I've had in Pattaya so far was when I rented a double at VT6 and cooked for the (now ex) girlfriend and friends, then just mellowed out drunk on the balcony while they cleaned up the mess. Happy days, I tell you.

I stayed there a few times about 4 years ago....pretty good, but for the money you can do better.

How much are rooms? I don't see anything less than 1600 BT per night on their web site.

That's a good suggestion While I stayed next door at Nova Gold, my mate stayed at Nova Park - he rated it and said he had a functioning kitchen. I think rates are about 1,000THB pn, dependent on season.
