Considering booking a few days stay there for my January trip (before moving to LK Metro area) as the pics on the bookingsites looks fine and the price seems to be very good. But is the area ok (beleive it is mid between Pattaya and Jomtien) Facilities seems ok but are they? Any bars/restaurants(foodstalls 7-11 nearby amd is it possible to catch a Bahtbus there?

Been to Patts several times but always stayed in the LK Metro / Soi Lengkee Area so any information would be more than welcome!

Thanks in advance for all help!

Hi Mate,

When I first came over I stayed in VT 2 via Dancewatchers and it was a great place. Private, no hassles bringin girls back, nice pool etc...

I now live in VT5, same same, but a lot cheaper as I am on a lease, into my second lot of 6 months... Love it here, typing this by the pool :) It's close enough to Patts without the hassles of living there.. Baht bus right outside door..

Highly recommend it here.

Thx a lot Atlas!

You just convinced me to actually book a few nights there (just made the booking for 3 nights - 2700 THB all included except for the girl 555). If i really like it i might amend the number of days and for one time not stay in the LK-metro - central Pattaya area.

There are 4 View Talay complexes (to my knowledge) not too far apart in Jomtien. VT1 & 2 are (sort of) either side of the hill as you come down into Jomtien and VT 5 & 7 are more or less on the beach. 1&2 tend to be much cheaper than 5&7.

I've booked VT7 for my trip next June. To give you some idea of costs, the person I booked with charges from 9000 baht for 2 weeks in VT1 in low season to 18500 for 2 weeks in VT7 in high season.

VT6 is in Central Pattaya and the new VT8 is much further along the beach in Jomtien, I don't know where VT3&4 are :-) I assume they do exist!
