If anyone needs a ride to the airport Sunday night early, I come in around 11, email her, she may give you a good rate since she is coming to get me...  Also anyone coming in on Dec 6, she is dropping me off.

She just found that I am arriving the same evening, but much earlier, and offered to meet me to take me to my BKK hotel, then will go back to the airport to meet The Joker.

 

So anyone who wants to go from Pattaya to the airport today, she'll probably leave around 6.00 PM...

Just got into town from Florida. Nam was right on time and a very timely and safe trip to Pattaya. Her car is a last model Ford Focus and is spotless inside and out. She is a real gem so put her to work gentleman.

Well Nam has been doing quite well with a booking nearly every day so thank you to all who are giving her this opporutnity. She does take tremendous pride in her service.

 

On another note. The first Sunday of every month is Temple day. She is not available for pick up until after 6pm in Bkk and would not be available at all in Pattaya. If you have a very early fight out, like 6am she may be able to bring you to the airport on her way to temple.

 

She is also starting to pick up some golf bookings which makes her very excited.

I was just in contact with one of her customers that was with her LT at the same time I used her taxi service. Good to see she can juggle her time both as a driver and GFE. I seriously need to stop smoking and drinking so much and ask her about being a private valet.

no, not reasonable at all as there is hardly a cost increase for the 2nd and 3rd person to pay 25-50% more then regular offers. 1000-1200 would be normal price

Sorry, that's pretty reasonable for the quality of service she provides - clean car, professional, etc... Only cheap Charlie' would squabble over the equivalent $10 in price for a multi-hours drive.

Not an expert, but surely a pick up from a central bkk area is a more costly exercise than the airport, when going to Pattaya?

BKK is bangkok international airport code so airport to pattaya. 1000-1200 is the standard prebook fare. regarding pickup in central bangkok have never had to pay more then 1200 even when not prebooked.

so no not reasonable at all to ask 1500 just because she is a cute girl.

have had brand new big cars for 1000-1200. also had fortuner clean and safe driver for 1000.

 

have never had trouble with drivers from the other suppliers. so where is the justification for 50% higher price.

 

funny when a beer is 10 baht more expensive all hell brakes loose haha but a girl asking 500 more for the same ride is pretty reasonable.

and multi hours drive? 1 hour and 15 minutes in normal traffic

I believe that I was with her when she worked out that price, I can tell you her thinking.  If this is the route she was talking about I believe the pick up or drop off spot added some drive time.  The drive into Bangkok does add considerable time to a trip due to traffic, due to the fact that it was likely that she was going to be on the road for an additional hour for both directions, she felt the additional cost was fair.

 

Now of course I am not very objective when it comes to her....I just spent two weeks with her and she thinks about each fare and all factors such as Airport or downtown pick up, where in Pattaya the person is going to, time of day the pick up will be so her rates will vary.  She is still working this stuff out, if you are not happy with a quote, make her an offer or try another service.

 

She just dropped me off Saturday morning, drove safe the whole way and walked me in, only my second trip to LOS, to make sure I got to the right gate, and on my way...  What wonderful service.

 

She is not a taxi company with a bunch of cars and drivers just a very nice girl who is trying to start a new life.

Could I please politely ask all participants in this spat to tone it down a bit. We may disagree about some things, but if we try and remain gentlemen, it would be less abrasive, and not get anyone's blood pressure to high.

hardly something to get bloodpressure up from. just review it objective. it is a tough competitive market out there but all are normally cheaper then here in europe for same distance

Used Nam's taxi service last sunday,  she promptly replied to my e-mail  and she was waiting for me at gate 3, 1200baht airport to Patts, very nice girl, decent price, nice car, i will use her service again if she is not booked out....

Had some urgent business in BKK today, and needed a driver.

Last week, I navigated with my GPS, and got her to take a wrong turn, which got us to arrive late.

 

Today, she said " I don't need you to look at GPS, I know where to go"

 

So we avoided last weeks wrong turn, but she took the next one, which

I thought was wrong, too. But by following her instinct, she got us nearly right, then found the expected right turn blocked. Took it anyway, squeezed through, did an elegant U-turn, a swift turn left, paralell to the railway on a road I didn't know existed, then got us onto rush hour Ratchada, but well past the usual bottlenecks.

 

End result, got us safely to my destination half an hour early.

 

Maybe, I should stop driving myself permanently, and just hire her privately.....

Just booked with Nam for Jan 5th, replied promptly to email, good customer service so far.

Have asked if she can supply a phone sim card also, will see what happens.
