I was just checking fares for a friend.
Lots of flights Feb, Mar, Apr under $800 from LAX (9 airlines under $850)
Add about $50 for SFO, LAS and NYC
Add about $100 for SEA and HOU
Add about $150 for ORD

Last week I booked for next May on EVA (red-eye from LAX and 2.5 hr connections in TPE) for $875...very happy considering I paid $1550 this past June. Also have a reservation for 10 nights at China Garden for 7000 THB. Nice to have my flight and room for under $1100 USD for this trip
