Five drug runners killed in Chiang Dao, big haul of 'yaba' seized

A clash between border patrol police and drug smugglers in Chiang Dao in the far northwest early Tuesday resulted to the death of five drug runners and the seizure of 420,000 methamphetamine pills, plus five pistols and one AK-47 rifle, Pol Col Peeyapan Patarapongsin of Chiang Dao Police Station said.
