Fire and Stone is new pizzeria on Pattaya Klang close to Beach Road.

It's a strong contender for the title of "Best Pizza in Town." It also offers a limited number of other classic Italian dishes, including appetizers, salads and pasta.

That's a good idea, as it's better to have a menu with a few dishes done well than a massive menu with many mediocre items.

It's a small, open-front restaurant that's been done up nicely.

The owners are very friendly and talk with the guests, which contributes to the pleasant ambiance.  It's also good that you can see your food being prepared.

I had my first meal at Fire and Stone about 10 days ago with a friend and went again by myself last night. I've been well-pleased with everything I've had there. The food is prepared by an experienced Italian chef with ingredients imported from Italy. One thing to note: the prices on the menu don't include the 7% VAT, so a 200-baht pizza actually costs 214 baht. There is no service charge.

Bottom line: I'll be back to try more dishes and I recommend Fire and Stone to others.

My friend had the parma ham and pineapple as his starter.  I tried a piece of it and it was the real deal.

I had the bruschetta as my starter. Delicious!

My friend had calzone (covered pizza) as his main dish. He liked it a lot.

I had the pizza salsiccia as my main course.

It was done in the style I prefer: thin crust with a good char and a moderate amount of sauce and topping (Italian sausage and mozzarella).

My appetizer the night I ate alone- a selection of fine Italian cheeses. I just wish it had come with bread.

Very good spag bol at 267 baht. The sauce used proper Italian sausage and not minced beef.

that looks really taste and i'm with you on the pizza; thinner crust real deal toppings and bit of that wood fire char on the crust or in the case of new york you get a coal fire char.. i'm gonna hit this place up next month.. was that the 12 or 14 inch? i'm always a fan of leftover pizza..

It was the 12-inch. That's enough for me when dining in a restaurant, but I always get the biggest size for take-away. I like leftover pizza, too.

Ate there 2 nights ago after seeing them on Facebook, a really nice new restaurant. Like you said, a limited pasta & pizza menu executed well by an Italian chef on-site (or Western Chef).... I also enjoyed the artisan beers on sale (Solstice), I will go back for sure. Presentation was good with the pizza's served on a wooden board placed on a stand, ideal to share which is what we did, ordered a few dishes and shared.

I will try it in february...thanks evil

The food looks ok but I don't see a wood fire oven you can't beat a real wood burning stone oven cooked pizza.

Some can come close but its not the same.

IMO the name is misleading.

There are a few about Pattaya you just need to look for them.
