Marks & Spencer Opens Food Section at Central Festival

Marks & Spencer has opened a food section in one part of its store on the lower level  of the Central Festival Mall.  It sells "Quintessentially British" foodstuffs, mostly sweets, biscuits, jams, teabags and other dry and packaged goods with a long shelf life.

 

 

 I didn't have much time to look, but there seemed to be a lot of wine as well.  The shop already has Christmas pudding on offer; I imagine more Christmas items will hit the shelves in the coming weeks.  The prices aren't for the faint of heart.

They do very good quality clothes. Non-Iron shirts are really good.

M&S have been in Bangkok for a while now.  Just a shame for lazy ex-pats like me that they don't sell stuff like this!

they do sell various varieties of T bags inc the extra strong ones in the light blue box.

about double uk at 325 bht for 160 but still only approx 2 bht each plus a bit of milk suger and water, say 5/6 bht a cup.

try getting a PROPER cup/mug of tea for that in pattaya

I like M&S stuff,right through from its food to some of its clothing range,always good quality.
