I have just finish a 14 day stay at Glow and overall it is good hotel, with friendly staff.  Being new and not completely completed it is still going through some teething problems!  The first 3 days I had booked the Deluxe Balcony room through Agoda @ 1200B  to see if I like it and if the walk in rate would be cheaper!  The only difference between the deluxe balcony and the Superior balcony is the floors, with floors 6,7 and 8 being Deulx and 5,4,3,2 being superior.  After the first 3 days i got the walk in rate of the superior room @ 990, which was cheaper than Agoda, then after 3 more days the walk in rate dropped to 890B and will be current to the end of December.

The location is great and the price was right, there are no gym facilities at the moment but they offer day passes to Tony's gym next door, The pool is located at the back of the hotel and is a bit of a hike to get to. No breakfast available as yet and since they don't have a kitchen they will be ordering in. if you can put up with the minor faults of the room, the 2 beds pushed together its not a bad hotel.

My biggest complete is that the doorman cant keep is mouth shut and mentioned to my LLT that I had brought many girls back to my room!  If I had a TG it would have made major drama!

The overall layout  of the room is useless and designed for 2 twin beds and not a double,

The location is very good imho and when you arrive the wet season will be over. No problems bringing girls back but I only did one at a time. Bare in mind that u will be sleeping on 2 single beds pushed together!

Great review mate, was looking to book as only the price is right and location, did you get a good nights sleep? Any noise from the outside world?

Thanks

It's hard to imagine these folks have multiple hotels considering how poorly the rooms are laid out ??

Looks a little basic for a new hotel, but the location seems good. That pic of the bunny towels made me smile though! Much more original than the tired old 'swan'.

The hotel was constructed with very poor quality materials, so the windows glass lets the noise in. The front gets all the noise from the beer bars and the back from the night market! if they had spent some more coin on glass they would save on air con costs.

Hard to believe they don't have queen/king beds. Can not conceive of not having double pane window/doors in a Pattaya hotel. Its' quality is gonna go down quickly.

I think people do forget Glow is a "budget hotel" you cant really expect too much at these kind of prices. That said I agree there are better around in the price bracket.

Over the years Ive stayed in many budget hotels in Thailand, all booked through Agoda, even as cheap as 350 baht a night but I never experienced an incident where my booking print out was no good and forced to look for another hotel, double bookings on my room during high season and other mistakes, sure but this is just unacceptable!
