Gadolinium

Anyone ever had an MRI with gadolinium contrast? Any reactions to the gadolinium? What was your experience with MRI with contrast??

Probably too few (or none) on this forum with this experience to be of help to you in deciding whether to have this exam.

 

I've some dated experience in this field and if memory serves, some patients' health has been compromised due to Gadolinium MRI studies. That was a some years ago. I'd have a frank discussion with your general practitioner about risks vs rewards of this study. Good luck.
