Australia, New Zealand, England and Samoa duke it out for the last major rugby league event of the year. First up is a double header Australia v New Zealand and England v Samoa at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane October 25 starting at 3.30pm Pattaya time. The Hunny Pot always draws a big League crew so expect plenty of banter and Pattaya's coldest beer. Hope to see you here.

This was headlines this week...

 

Queensland’s Test squad dominance ended as 12 NSW players named for Kangaroos.....well that worked well 555

 

Yeah that was the headlines in the NSW newspapers. They are as parochial as the Qld ones, it helps sell the papers to all the one eyed supporters of both states.

NZ deserved their win and good luck to them. Also Samoa was unlucky to lose against the Poms. They did their supporters proud.

Oz losing 2 players during the game helped us alot imo. But, a wins a win, it will boost our confidence immensely. Then we'll throw it all away and just scrape past the poms 555

They were both good games, it is going to be very interesting to see how the next couple of rounds pans out.

Ok this weeks game times are pretty ordinary. After consultation with the regular crew we have decided to go with a far more user friendly afternoon session.

Another great showing for Samoa, if these guys had a decent kicker they would be unstoppable. England v Oz today, should be a cracker of a game if your prepared to brave the rain.
