Where Can I Buy-rent A Blood Pressure Monitor In Pattaya ?

Hello, My 82 year old Mother will be coming to visit Pattaya for 3 weeks. She needs to check her blood pressure regularly. Her USA machine runs on 110 Volts. Does anyone know where I could buy or rent a lower priced blood pressure monitor. I was looking for a lower price model as she will only be using it for several weeks. Thanks for any info.

You can buy one in many pharmacies, certainly in any of the shopping malls. But the same pharmacies will usually check your BP for free - I usually use one of the Boots branches in Central Festival.

Facino Pharmacy on North Road has a selection from cheap to more fully functioned all will suit to check your blood pressure. So cheap as to not to be worth hunting around to get it done for free

You should try Boots or even  Watsons.

 

Omron is a very good make and the one I have runs on batteries and has lasted for ages. So can be used anywhere.

 

The latest models will keep a record of the last 20 or so readings.

 

I would be expecting to pay around 2000 to 3000 baht.

 

A good investment.

Thanks to all posters for your help and info. My Mom's blood pressure has recently gotten much better and doctor has taken her off her medications. She thinks her monitor Does also have a battery option so I told her to bring it anyway so we can continue to watch the pressure. Thanks again.
