Pat: Just wondering if you have room safes. will be arriving in the middle of Jan--looking for a decent place and some golf. Rooms lool nice and your staff is cute.

Hi 'bdawgered', Many thanks for your kind comments..All bedrooms have safes in them, secured to the bedroom wall.... Sorry we have nothing available until the 20th January, but you are more than welcome to call in and give us the once over if you wish.

We have good fun golfing day's and plenty of craic.

About right but depends on room size etc , its high season now so its a decent price for area.

Thanks Pat, am packing as we e-mail. Granville goes into hospital 1 week today , for triple heart by-pass and valve reolacement , operation week monday. He hopes to be coming in june and october. Hi 'Orby' We had a VIP, stay here for almost 7 weeks, and Paul looked after him very well..He spoke very highly of Paul, and his Visa Service, but moreover it appears Paul and his Co, have a back-up service, and check-up on his clients from time to time, to make sure they are satisfied with everything, and no charge.

I have just returned this morning from staying at the Irish Rovers.

 

I have nothing but praise for the place, they were faultless in very sense of the word, hospitality second to none.

 

Breakfasts were superiour to what I found in the local area, rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily without fail. If you are unsure of a place to stay then look no futher than this establishment, they have quite a few ladies that ensure that you are enjoying your evening in the bar.

 

If you are lucky they even organise trips to Bang Chang and the Darkside depending on the support of who is staying and who is interested in going, I was lucky enough to go on both tours, Pat (Boss) has a circle of friends local that come to the bar and all make you feel like you are one of them.

 

The area LK Metro I would say is very convenient for everywhere being very central. there is enough to do in the Metro itself without venturing in to town at all, you have heard and read stories of Hell Club - Lolitas - Bobs BBQ. Liquid Lounge - they are ALL in the same street, one side soi diana other side soi buakaow. they very next soi is soi honey where all the best massage places are close together. POOK bar just 2 mins away if thats your thing. (not mine).

Hi Gerry, I hope and trust you are keeping well, and not missing here toooo-much..Many thanks for your kind comments, about the staff and The Irish Rovers in general, very much appreciated..Not as many bar-crawls, since you left Gerry, hoping to do 1 or 2 this week..Fred is off back home next thursday morning, and hopes to be back for St.Patricks Day, the 17th March.

 

On that day we have a big party celebrating our 1st Anniversary and it is also my -- Th birthday..Wish you were here for it...It was a pleasure for me and the staff to be your hosts during your stay here, and be rest assured you will always receive a very Special welcome here always..Take care Gerry, and thanks for all the happy memories.

thanks again pat,ive stayed here twice now, 6-7 days in january and loved it and stayed for 3 days just passed in march to do my visa run,soi LK Metro is my fav place to stay now and has lots of bars before i go to walking st later in the night.

the breakfast are good value and start you off for a days drinking!!

same as last time your staff made me feel more than welcome and always took good care of me,especially one certain memeber of staff.

well im back in bangkok now for a week or two,not sure if ill be back before i go but all going well ill be back sept/oct.

Hi Alan, i hope and trust you are keeping well..I believe Steve is coming out in April, so we will have plenty of golf etc...Room rates will be 700 Baht a night Paul, and also a complimentary Irish/English breakfast, on a morning of your choice, for each week you stay here..Many thanks for your kind comments about our food, Irish stew etc.
