Best food for Brtish American in my bar ( Secrets ) and Palmers on soi 13/4

Oh, and there's a kick ass pizza place on 3rd road…can eat there, take out, or they'll deliver. Can't recall the name of that either, but if you take 2nd Road, make a right on Soi Diana, go kinda-straight through the intersection at Soi Buokhao, and hit 3rd Road, it's on the other side of the street.

Sounds like New York Pizza. Love this place.

Whilst in Pattaya I eat 90 ℅ Thai food other than that I like Loaf and Bake n brew for breakfast

I like the restaurant called "The Kitchen". They serve both Thai and Western food, the latter being lots of grilled meat (kebabs, chicken, fish, pork). It is great if you are eating primal and trying to avoid carbs. There is one location on 2nd road not far from the Maytara hotel and another on Beach road not far from the WS sign. Last order is 1:30 AM which makes it a good late night choice.

I like the Mexican place on soi7. Otherwise I do street food and Thai food outside the tourist areas.

Last week I went for the daily special, cant remember what it was but it was okay and cheap.

 

The LB with the big arse implants that used to work at 18 coins now works there, I think the same guy runs both kitchens.

 

Twice a week I go to Sizzlers for the salad bar, best I've found in Pattaya,

Haven't been to Sizzlers for a while,must go there next time.

For breakfast I really like Casa Pascal on 2nd rd .

 

Thai food I like that restaurant at the corner of 3rd rd and soi chaiyapoom(sp) it's very reasonable and the food is very good, it's a large open air place, but I still don't know the name.

 

Also I like to get a late night snack of pad thai from that lady who has a street cart and has a choice of different colored noodles, she usually works up and down soi bukhoaw  and is out late.

The Sante Fe in Big C Extra in Pattaya Klang opp soi Arunathai is one of my regular eating places. Australian owned chain I think. Although specialising in beef, I often prefer the fish. The "set" menu is great value with the choice of salad and soup for a couple of dollars more onto a basic price for the main. Even with a beer and juice for my lady I usually get out paying around 500 bart for two. Thai ladies happy to eat here occassionally.

My favourites in Pattaya in no particular order

 

Secrets - great western and thai food

Brooklyn Diner soi bhua khao - really good pizzas and chicken schnitzel, salads etc

Casa Pascal just off 2nd Rd - fantastic buffet breakfast till 2pm. My number one brekky place

Cherrys Restaurant 3rd Rd - great restaurant for a nice night out with great food.

Looking for some ideas on where to find the best restaurants in Pattaya for my next trip (always find myself going to the same places time and time again:

 

So if anyone could help me with suggestions that would be much appreciated:

1: Kiss at soi diana, since it is cheap not particularly good. But I do not go to expensive places when Im with a girl, I save that for when I only pay for myself.

3: Hmm, they serve  good prawn masala at the indian resturang not far from kiss on the backside of papagayo among all the suit salesmen. I love it. However little inconsistent, first time only prawns in the masala, second time prawn and potato. Still good. Dont forget to order rice to it.

5: Italien food? Hmm, have so far not eating any good pizza. Spagetti I have eating some decent ones, för instead again soi diana, the big resturant to the left when you enter from SR, forgot the name, but it is something very basic like "eat and drink".

7: Different? Hmm, street food? There are a lot of good things, sushi, BBQ, chicken wings, banana pancake and so on

 

My favorite resturang is right now pink lady at BR. I have eating there like 3-4 times and have always been fairly happy with it. But things could change. But like almost all BR resturants, it also has a good view.

Yeah it is a lot of people there, probably because it is cheap. But good? Very bland food.

My fav's are the lamb Doner on the cart on the L as you are walking into Walking Street about 200' down, you can eat and watch the turkish ice cream guy with the bell work his magic, I've seen him a hundred times at least and he never fails to crack me up to where I'm usually spitting lamb from laughing at the bullshit he pulls on people. The woman with the BBQ cart outside of Babydolls has dynamite chicken, 10B/stick iirc, is great too. The Chinese place across from the Buffalo Bar at the foot of walking st is good too. PBG is a nice get away at times. The garlic grasshoppers on the carts on Soi 6 are a personal fav.

Marine food court is shitty Thai food also. Don't suggest going there at all unless u are starving or to drunk to care .

 

The pizza place in front of avenue mall has good pastas.

 

And that's pretty much where I eat when in patt .
