So long as you paying why would they have a max stay policy?

Never heard of such a thing in Pattaya, some hotels even have special rates for month or more long stays.

Just contact them directly

My second trip to Pattaya was supposed to be 14 nights. But I kept extending and extending. Ended up doing 33 nights I think it was. You got the money, anything goes.

(and I can't imagine why anyone would wanna stay 14 nights or more in Vegas lol)

This is a strange question. Conversely, the longer you stay at the hotel, you should ask for a discount and better treatment and service for your person and accommodation.

Casinos with hotels often have maximum stay policies. Never heard of it in any other places though.

If you plan that long in advance, sure. Most serviced apartments will accommodate you with a monthly rental, which can be up to 40% less than your daily rate.

You won't get those discounts if you consistently extend, though, as you are then inconveniencing the hotel, which might have plans for tori room, based on your earlier planned departure dates.

Most of the monthly deals are only available by directly contacting the hotel's office and initially inquiring, and subsequently starting to bargain. Monthly rates usually do not include daily maid service, or daily breakfast. My strategy has usually been to first negotiate for the best monthly rate, and then 'inquire' about daily maid service and breakfast - when that is denied ("so sorry, extra charge"), another back and forth usually can net you both thrown in, or both added for an extra 200 baht a day. It depends on the manager or hotel or time of day or phase of the moon - you know, the usual ;-)

Remember the fact that when living on a monthly rate, they usually charge the utilities on the top of the room rent. Be careful to check the unit price for the electricity as they might use extra inflated price for that.

Very good point you need to take a long hard look at the whole deal.

A guy now a very good friend of mine moved out of one of my apartments ( paying government rate 3.98 per unit) as he wished to save a few baht moved into a cheeper apartment that charged him 10bt a unit for electric.

And he was presented with a home made bill stating his usage not the government bill ( as I do) !!!!!!!!!. for 4,000tb.

when he queried it he was told "if you don't like it move out ( he had payed a 3 month deposit !!!!!!.

His average bill with me was 800tb to 1,100tb including water rent was 15,000tb his new one was 4,000tb his rent was 12,000tb so he was paying 16,000 plus water.

For a smaller less equipped apartment with no secure underground parking.

So do your home work some times a good deal on the surface is not all it seems.
