Doing an in/out to activate second TV entry

Anybody have any news on what's happening with the daily runs to Cambodia? I've emailed 3 companies, still waiting for a reply but wanted independent advice. I know guy who went to Laos for a brand new TV 2 weeks ago and walked back in without a hitch on his 4th or 5th back to back, which sounds like good news, but I haven't heard anything from anybody else.

I was worried about it as have done 2 border runs before, I only need an extra two weeks so it would have been ideal. I was waiting for tourist visa for the missus to come back to oz with me, I explained my situation to Immigration at Jomtien and they told me that it was "at the discretion of the officer at the border so it was a possibility I may not be able to return" I could have a one week extension and then come back a week later and get another one week. Then he told me, " but in your case sir, please exit thailand by airport, stay away 24 hours and you will have another 30 days visa exemption when you arrive" that's what I did and had no hassles whatsoever, it didn't cost that much more than a visa run, just flew to PP for 2 nights and flew back, easy
