Hotel younger audience?

Deciding on where to stay in Patts doesn't seem to be easy pickings, given all the locations and available options, categories, joiner or no joiner fees, etc...etc...

However the existing threads do help very nicely in sorting out the good ones from the lesser... Yet I have a question which doesn't seem to be adressed in topics. I don't know if there is such a thing but couldn't hurt to ask then, I guess.

I don't know what the average age is here or on the scene (I'm 28), as I'm completely new to the experience of travelling combined with P4P, but are there certain hotels which favor a younger audience where one could meet likewise minded people? And perhaps form a bunch for a night on the town? Or at least not be considered the odd ball out when hanging around the pool, gym, sauna, whatever?

Or do you guys just meet up via the forum if there is such an interest?

I was looking at April Suites and Flipper Lodge as possible accomodations. They seem to be getting good reviews...how is the clientele there? Diverse or some specific category?

Perhaps a strange question, but I do like my privacy and ofcourse I will be uncomfortable at certain stages during the trip. I don't mind going out of my comfort zone, just would not like to feel like the odd one out for the entire stay. That would definetly be a bummer...

It's better to meet the people in the bars or organize meeting with some BMs. hotel is just for the sleeping(with BGs) and maybe have some sunbathe before the bar hopping if they have a pool. Propably your average monger is lot of older than you so don't just stuck in the same age bracket. Older and more experienced mongers can really help you with certain things as you're the newbie.

I have always travelled with my mate who is 5 years younger than me but more experienced monger and I got some great tips from him. Monger advice will be very important for you. You don't have to learn the hard way. So don't be cautious of the old dudes telling you some things. :GoldenSmile1:
