Defrocked monk Nikorn dies of brain haemorrhaging

Former monk Nikorn died of haemorrhaging in the brain late Thursday night, Daily News reported. He was 61 years old.

Convicted criminals are allowed to serve " penance" under certain circumstances should they so choose as an alternative to serving time in prison. The number of monks having improper relationships with boys girls etc puts the excesses of the Catholic Church in the shade and the tales of monks and abbots who misappropriate temple funds is beyond belief.My girlfriend is very devout and probably the only true "Buddhist" in the accepted sense of the word as I know it that I have personally met in the five years I have spent in this wonderful country.Rant over !
