Any recent info on Pasadena lodge?

Just found out Pasadena lodge has rooms available in all prices for January. That strikes me as odd.

 

Anybody have current intel? Is the place gone to shit? Construction?

You will find that although the "most popular" hotels are pretty much full for January as you filter downwards (the popularity stakes) there is a fair bit of capacity available.

 

Pasadena Lodge is a decent hotel, always has been, but it has never been at the top of the tree really.

 

It is possible, though I am guessing, it has lost some of its old repeat customers due to the big sea change in the Soi LK Metro scene. Obviously that change is a "benefit" also, to other people so I am not suggesting its a bad thing.

 

If you are looking for a good room, in the heart of the LK Metro scene then also consider Destiny.

 

Destiny has now totally seperated the hotel from the Agogo i.e. blocked the through entrance off.

 

I would say its two top end rooms, with the jacuzzis, are far better than anything Pasadena has. Pasadena does have more on offer as a "hotel.

 

Indeed I would suggest that anyone looking for an LK Metro room should at least consider Destiny.
