Very frightening experience for them , farang or Thai not yet known until later , murdered I reckon , what motive ? Robbery or drugs debt is very common. Don't want to exaggerate , RIP to the unfortunate dead.

I am surprised they did not tie the hands behind the back like we see in balcony diving.  Of course this is likely not a suicide.  Probably a couple farangs on vacation were robbed and they cut off the heads to make difficult identification.  However, could possibly be a drug deal gone wrong etc.  However, I have always thought the idea of boating about would be great entertainment but very dangerous because you are carrying around valuables and miles from any assistance if needed.  A good reason to carry a gun in this environment I would think.
