Hopen op het beste.

Hij heeft nog mazzel dat hij in relatieve vrijheid (zit niet in het gevang) het proces mag afwachten. Zou de Belgische ambassade niks voor hem kunnen betekenen?

Die zijn ingelicht en hopelijk kunnen die het proces wat bespoedigen, een snelle afhandeling van het proces en een betaalbare som, meer is ijdele hoop vrees ik.

Zijn zoon is terug in Belgie maar Dominique zit ginds nog vast. Het is te zeggen, ze hebben zijn paspoort afgenomen en hij verblijft op een appartement in afwachting van zijn proces. Niemand die weet wanneer het proces zal voorkomen, het kan binnen 2 maanden zijn, maar ook binnen 2 jaar. Er wordt een benefiet georganiseerd in zijn vroegere restaurant in Brugge.

Goed nieuws, nu alleen wachten totdat het ook werkelijkheid wordt. Dan kan misschien nog wel een aantal maanden duren.

Volgens de geruchten in ons dorp zou hij vrij zijn om terug naar België te keren :-)
