Areca Lodge guest friendly? Policy change?

I have stayed at Areca Lodge before but when I inquired about reservations for this fall I received this as part of my response: Does this mean it's not girl friendly anymore or does this just pertain to an additional non-guest lodger? Hmmmm...

 

TERMS & RATES POLICY

All room rates are inclusive of buffet breakfast, taxes and service charge.

Extra person (6 years above) is charged THB 500 per person per night and is exclusive of bed & buffet breakfast.

Extra bed is charged THB 600 per bed per night and is inclusive of buffet breakfast.

Was fine in April when I stayed.

Think it refers to a 3rd guest.

I'm pretty sure that their advertised rates are based on "Double Occupancy", so there shouldn't be a joiner fee unless you decide you want "triple occupancy"!!  ;)
