Don't mean to hijack the thread.

 

But why do people don't take the bus for 10x less? is it too long or cramped? I know it is only 20$ but why?

Why

Because after siting on a plane for 12 hours I can not be arsed dicking about with buses

When I can get a taxi direct to my condo for 1000 baht
