Thought it to good to be true came across this review of edreams booking agents

eDreams ticket each flight separately, even though they make it look as if you're booking a return. It's in the fine print of the Contract of Carriage.

So, if one flight is cancelled, you'll only get refund/rebooking for that flight. Any other flights that you miss or no show, you won't get compensation.

Very risky. I'd steer well clear.

You can also book direct to Eva, it is the same date and same airfair.

I have booked my flight with http://www.norwegian.com/ from OSL (Oslo-Norway) to BKK in september non-stop for £ 312,- this was without food, suitcase and seatreservation.

So if you could do it without the food, and just bring a carry-on and take whatever seat you get. Its cheap

This is with the new Boing 787 Dreamliner

I ordered with reserved seat, food and suitcase, this cost me £ 94

So total is £ 405,- (osl - bkk / bkk - osl)

I have used them with no problems I also used Budgetair also no problem. But if you read reviews on Trip advisor both get bad reviews. I did have change my dates with Budget air and they did charge me well for the change.

check the reviews for edreams online .. not good.

Exactly !

Just search "Edreams reviews"

Thats the thing with skyscanner and most other flight search sites, its possible to exclude airlines but not the ticket agents.

I, in fairness must say, that I have never used Edreams and so don't have any experience of whether all those slating don't touch them with a bargepole type reviews are true or not, or again in fairness the few positive ones.

As a generality Ive found that the remarkably cheap, almost out of sink quotes on skyscanner etc. are provided by the same companies again and again and the reviews of these companies are mostly less than positive.

Its the old if it looks to good to be true..................................

In the beginning was the word and the word was "In" :ThumbUp6:

I booked with them once on a deal to good to be true, then read the reviews and panicked.

Thankfully, it was all good but there are plenty of horror stories.

I'd rather pay a little more for piece of mind.

  • 2 weeks later...

I used eDreams once, to book a return to London for my son, they were swift to take the money on my credit-card, but then didn't issue the tickets.

They then emailed me & claimed the price had gone up by 90-quid, but they were still happily offering the OLD price on skyscanner for a couple-of-weeks longer, I would NOT have booked through them at the new price !

After trying/failing to get my bank to refund the money, I reluctantly paid-up the extra, they then issued tickets and everything went smoothly.

But I will NEVER use eDreams again.

Oh, and they then had the nerve to ask me, how my experience of dealing with them had been ?  ****ing un-printable !

Google 'eDreams' and 'problems' !
