Police tighten up on public transport vans

With the crackdown on illegal public transport vans at Bangkok's Victory Monument area now in effect, Metropolitan Police deputy commissioner Pol Maj-General Chanthawit Ramasut on Monday warned that violators would face up to five years in prison and/or a fine of Bt20,000 to Bt100,000.
